PR & Communications Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and communications-driven PR Executive with a strong professional background in media and public relations.

Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the communications plan to support the communications objectives, you will have oodles of initiative and take advantage of opportunities; having the confidence to do so under your own volition.

Possessing creativity and knowledge of different tactics to identify and engage the appropriate target audience to build a strong communications network around the brand ensuring good relationships with our customers and consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate PR activities working with an external brand communications agency.
  • Use a variety of media channels both on and offline to maximise brand exposure.
  • Assess opportunities for sponsorships and other partnerships and manage relations
  • Analyse results of PR campaigns and preparing weekly reports.
  • Day to day management of the social media plan and community management
  • Content creation
  • Support on the CRM plan: blogs/newsletters/emails.
  • Support on the PR plan.

What Makes a Good Egg

  • Proven experience within communications
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective campaigns through various channels.

Stock Control Manager

Managers translate strategy into action, executing plans brilliantly. Managers typically lead a team or are subject matter experts. This role will support the implementation of a new ERP system and establish clear processes and procedures to provide better inventory controls, reducing waste volumes and costs in the business.

Managing, directing and monitoring the overall raw material stock control for the business including the development, performance and maintenance of Ovo-vision, our stock management system. Establishing, maintaining and improving the procedures to optimise stock control within Ovo-vision to facilitate the training and monitoring of all users Performing weekly line checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the stock management system. Auditing control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted and addressed as appropriate. Generating a weekly stock report showing current stock performance for all lines. Managing the stock rotation of class B eggs, liaising with operations, commercial and production planning to ensure onward processing or sales are executed in a timely manner. Forecasting supply and demand to avoid overstocking or run-outs on raw materials, packaging and consumables.

The role is full time, working 40 hours per week. This would generally be Monday-Friday but may involve working weekends on occasion.
